    Mahbod Moghadam is a co-founder and Chief Community Officer of Everipedia. Before Everipedia, Moghadam was the former co-founder and CEO of RapGenius. Mahbod graduated from Stanford Law School and worked as an attorney for the firm of Dewey & Leboeuf in New York before beginning work on Rap Genius. He is childhood friends with Tom Lehman and Ilan Zechory from their days at Yale University. Mahbod is Iranian and studied the history of Iran as an undergraduate. He explained some of the first rap songs on Rap Genius - including "99 Problems" by Jay-Z, which has a legalistic storyline - and has expanded to explaining the works of Baudelaire, Nietzsche, Herman Melville and the Persian poet Rumi, on Rap Genius. Before law school, Mahbod was a Fulbright scholar to France; he speaks Persian, French, some Arabic and English too. Mahbod has played piano since age 15 - alongside hip-hop, his musical passions include Bach, Beethoven and Schubert.
